At SHIELD, the agents watch a shadowy figure purporting to be the leader of the group responsible for the EMP. Their demands: stop Inhuman registration. Jeffrey mobilizes the team to act on this quickly.
Phil and Jemma are helpless as they get status of May’s deteriorating state. Another “infected” man in the lab quickly succumbs to the madness and dies. Jemma’s dire prognosis: May will have the same fate within 24 hours.
In LA, another EMP pulse hits Daisy and Robbie. Robbie is concerned for his brother’s safety, so he rushes to check up on him.
Radcliffe works with AIDA and quickly puts her to “sleep” as Jemma arrives with May. They’re now down to 6 hours and May is looking really bad.
En route to Miami, Phil, Fitz, and Mack watch a news report with Senator Nadeer blasting the Inhumans. Phil gets a bad vibe. These attacks don’t feel right. Fitz, busy as a bee, tries to find a way to trace the blackouts to their origin.
A gang loots and vandalizes a street. They see Gabe and start making trouble for him. Daisy and Robbie arrive just in time. A fight breaks out with Daisy further hurting her hand after using her abilities to ward off an attacker.
An angry mob of men raid the bachelorette party, demanding to know who among them is the Inhuman. One party-goer falsely accuses a low-level magician as the Inhuman. The mob set their sites on him.
Radcliffe and Jemma make some headway into May’s condition. All the victims were actually scared to death.

Daisy holes up at the Reyes brothers’ home. She finally sees a picture of Eli Morrow, Robbie’s and Gabe’s beloved uncle. Robbie wants Daisy to keep his identity as Ghost Rider a secret from Gabe.
The mob at the bachelorette party lose their patience, planning to shoot the magician to prove that he’s an Inhuman. Yo Yo uses her abilities to confiscate their guns. However, her own scared friend gives her up.

Jeffrey appears on television and makes an official announcement that SHIELD is back.
Post-Credits Stinger
-Senator Nadeer is the one controlling the now international Watchdog group. As she leaves, we see her that her brother is also an Inhuman, albeit one who died during the Terragensis process. Her motivations point to her blaming the Inhumans for her sibling’s death.
Best One-Liner“You know what’s a good light source? Guy with a flaming head,” says Fitz to the rest of the team as they walk through a blacked-out Miami.
“Oh, come on, it’s rudimentary science,” says a disappointed Fitz after telling the non-scientifically-inclined team that they need to construct compasses. They continue to look at him with confused faces. Fitz, facetious as always, “Yeah, no big deal, just rudimentary science … maybe saving the day.”
Badass Moment of the Week
-Fitz has got some fightin’ skills. I had to replay this twice. When the team engaged the Watchdogs at the bachelorette party, you see a badass Fitz block a punch and stab one of the baddies through the hand—all in one smooth motion. Man, has this character arced!
