Winner: No Contest
-The pace begins hard and heavy with Ryback as the surprising aggressor. Show stops him in his tracks with a clothesline and body slam. He begins to work the crowd as they chant, ‘Please Retire’. Final Cut by Big Show (his finisher around 2002 or so) for a two-count. Huge collision by the two with Ryback coming out on top. Ryback hits a Spinebuster on Show and sets up for his Meat Hook Clothesline. Show spears him instead for a close two-count. Show dropkicks Ryback to the outside, but Ryback pushes him into the post. He fails a body slam on The Giant, but hits a nasty clothesline through the barricade on the outside. This leads to a Double Count Out finish.
2nd Match: Los Matadores vs The New Day
Winner: The New Day
-Xavier starts off with a Matadore, but turns around for a cheap shot to Torito on the apron. The speed of this bout is pretty blistering from the get-go especially with quick tags. Great teamwork in the beginning from Los Matadores. Meanwhile, Jerry Lawler says, “I like the Lucha Dragons.” Great commentary on THE NEW DAY VS. LOS MATADORES, Lawler! Meanwhile, Los Matadores knock The New Day outside. Big E drops Diego into a Snake Eyes-esque move but Xavier kicks him in the face as he comes down. Very quick tags from The New Day as they stomp a mudhole in Diego in the corner, ending with an assisted Irish Whip Dropkick in the corner on Diego by Woods for a two-count. Eventually, Diego struggles for long enough to get the hot tag to El Torito on Xavier Woods. He surprisingly takes out the entire New Day before doing a confusing and seemingly endless hurricanranna. The New Day regain control though as they illegally get involved at the same time. Backbreaker from Big E onto El Torito. Follwed up by his high angle splash which looks extra brutal! Xavier Woods gets the tag and pins El Torito immediately for the instant heel heat. And just to fan the flames, Kofi comes back in the ring and presents Xavier with a bundle of flowers.
-Ziggler & Lana come to the ring and promo about Dolph’s injury, struggling while seeing Lana being tortured by Summer Rae, his eventual return on RAW earlier this week, and of course SummerSlam. They kiss before they are interrupted by Rusev and Summer Rae. The men argue about who will win at SummerSlam with Dolph saying that he will steal Rusev’s “real” girlfriend.
-A recap of RAW’s contract signing between Seth Rollins and John Cena is shown.
3rd Match: Neville vs Bo Dallas
Winner: Neville
-After the match, Cosmic” King Barrett and “The Prince of Dark Matter” Stardust cut a promo over the tron on The Green Arrow and Neville. Barrett mentions that “Red and Green will be Black and Blue after SummerSlam.”
-Alicia Fox gets some rare mic time as they make over Nikki Bella for her extraordinary Diva’s Championship reign and how it’s creeping up on the record reign which belongs to AJ Lee. Team B.A.D. interrupts them and they trade some pithy insults back and forth. Becky Lynch enters as the intensity is about to boil over and the match begins almost immediately.
4th Match: Brie Bella vs Becky Lynch vs Sasha Banks
Winner: Brie Bella
-Becky Lynch seems to be in control early on by taking them both out with hip tosses and arm drags. Returning from commercial, Bella goes into Brie Mode and gets a two-count broken up on Becky by Sasha. Sasha then stacks up both girls (one on the middle rope, one on the bottom) for her signature knee attack in the corner! She then chokes Brie in the corner with some serious conviction. Becky takes over with an Exploder Suplex to both opponents, earning a two-count on Brie. Brie gets the roll-up and tainted victory by grabbing the tights of Becky Lynch.
-Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose cut a promo on The Wyatt Family backstage. Roman says, “You won’t be running your mouths after SummerSlam, because you will be crapping out your teeth boys!” Dean goes into the fact that he has to use his originality to win and can’t use pliers or torches and can easily be DQ’ed. Randy Orton even joins them as he gets a pretty brutal bit in on Sheamus and how he wants to mutilate him at SummerSlam. Cesaro comes in and at the end with, “Wow. You guys are pretty messed up. I just want to beat Kevin Owens and maybe get a new T-shirt.”
5th Match: Orton/Cesaro/Reigns/Ambrose vs Owens/Sheamus/Bray/Harper
Winner: Orton, Ambrose, Reigns & Cesaro
-Sheamus and Orton start off with Sheamus being distracted by the fans “You Look Stupid!” chant that makes him almost back into an early RKO. He avoids it, however, and escapes to the outside…clutching his Money in the Bank briefcase. He tags out to Kevin Owens and Cesaro hurries to get tagged in, landing a Stalling Suplex while Owens tried to punch his way out of it unsuccessfully. Luke Harper and Dean Ambrose are tagged in and we get little previews of SummerSlam back-to-back-to-back. Basement clothesline by Dean on Harper for a two-count. Roman is tagged in, hits the same move more or less. Bray is soon tagged and tosses Roman from corner to corner, but gets hit with a Roman clothesline. Harper and Cesaro become legal and begin trading European Uppercuts before Cesaro is able to hit a Sunset Flip from the apron for a two-count. Owens then interrupts his Cesaro Swing attempt on Harper. Bray is tagged in and hits a nasty Avalanche on Cesaro in the corner and tags out to Sheamus. Release Vertical Suplex by Sheamus on Cesaro, and Owens is tagged in. Corner Cannonball by Owens on Cesaro, really slowing down The Swiss Superman with a close two-count. Returning from commercial, we see Sheamus land a Finlay Roll on Cesaro and Bray hit a nasty Senton on him, as does Owens. Cesaro tries to fight back out of the corner, but gets an Irish Curse Backbreaker for his troubles. So far, this really seems like a GYSI type match as Cesaro finally hits a dropkick and gets the hot tag to Roman Reigns. Several clotheslines in the corner for Sheamus followed by his “Drive-By” Dropkick on the apron. Owens gets tagged in and owned with a Samoan Drop. Sheamus tries to mimic the women with a tainted win, but only gets a two-count. Sheamus calls for the Brogue Kick, turns for a cheap shot to Orton, and turns back around to get wasted by a Superman Punch from Roman! Luke Harper and Dean Ambrose are tagged in and the bout speeds up quite a bit as Dean unloads his move set on Luke Harper and dumps him outside after his nod to Nigel McGuiness and his Jawbreaker Clothesline. Owens breaks up a close two-count on Harper by Dean with a Senton. Several finishers hit out of nowhere until the ultimate out-of-nowhere move, the RKO is hit. More finishers ensue until Dean is able to wrangle Luke Harper up for Dirty Deeds and the win!
