-You know how Royal Rumble goes? No? Let me break it down for you. The first two wrestlers engage, with the rest of the field coming to the ring every 90 seconds. A fighter is eliminated once he is thrown over the top rope and his feet make contact with the floor. Each man is fighting for himself, and the last man fighting is declared the winner as they earn a WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match at WrestleMania. Is that better clarification for you? Okay. Thought so.
1st Match: The Brotherhood vs New Age Outlaws
Winner: New Age Outlaws
-Cody goes for a quick pin on Road Dogg before Road Dogg throws a few jabs, then he taunts Cody and whips him before ducking a Disaster Kick. Billy gets the tag but Cody sends him outside, then Goldust hits a clothesline from the apron and Cody hits a top rope dropkick. We get back after a break to see Road Dogg go for a pin on Goldust, then he jabs him in the corner and puts him in a chinlock. Goldust fights out and hits a Canadian Destroyer, then Billy runs in off a tag and Goldust powerslams him and Cody uppercuts Road Dogg. He mocks Billy with a DX chop and hits a double springboard dropkick, then Road Dogg goes for a pumphandle slam but Cody counters with Cross Rhodes for two. Billy breaks it up so Goldust goes after him, but Billy slams him into the barricade and blind tags Road Dogg. Cody knocks Road Dogg down and turns to pick him up, but Billy jumps in and hits a Famasser for the win. This had to be 1999 all over again. Great kick off match, New Age Outlaws still got it!
1st Match: Bray Wyatt vs Daniel Bryan
Winner: Bray Wyatt
-Bray headbutts Bryan a few times and whips him, connecting with a forearm, then he stomps Bryan and whips him again but Bryan knees him in the stomach. Bryan gets distracted by Rowan and Bray hits him from behind, then he goes for a clothesline but Bryan ducks and hits a suicide dive. The ref ends up throwing Harper and Rowan out, then Bray hits Bryan from behind and tells his family he can win this fight alone. Bray sends them away as Bryan hits him with a top rope axe handle smash, then he rolls Bray in and hits a top rope crossbody. Bryan kicks him a few times and heads up top, but Bray kicks him outside and Bryan hits the steps before Bray uppercuts him.
Bray charges him but Bryan whips him into the steps, then Bryan chop blocks his knee and kicks him several times. Bryan applies a STF variation and slams Bray's head on the mat, then Bray comes back with a shot to the midsection and some elbows. Bryan hangs Bray's leg on the ropes and dropkicks him, then they try to suplex each other off the apron before Bray snaps Bryan's shoulder off the apron. Bray kicks him in the head and suplexes him, then Bryan kicks him a few times but Bray whips him outside and punches his head against the ringpost a few times. Ouch. Bryan is taking a couple of bumps. Bray hits a running senton on the floor and asks the fans why they didn't help Bryan, then he slingshots Bryan throatfirst into the bottom rope and delivers a few haymakers to the back of the head. Bray spider walks out of the corner and splashes Bryan, then he scoop slams him and goes for an elbow but Bryan rolls away. Bryan hits a running dropkick and drop toe holds Bray into the turnbuckles, then Bryan repeatedly kicks him and connects with a top rope hurricanrana for two. Bryan counters a whip and runs up the turnbuckles, then he hits the ropes but Bray elbows him in the head and gets a near fall. Bray runs at Bryan but Bryan pulls the ropes and dumps him outside, then Bryan hits a diving tornado DDT off the apron and knees Bryan into the barricade. Bryan rolls him back in and connects with a top rope missile dropkick, then he kips up and repeatedly kicks Bray in the chest and head. Bryan gets a two count before hitting a corner dropkick, then he goes for another but Bray blasts him with a lariat and sets up Sister Abigail. Bryan counters with a rollup for two, then he wrestles him down and puts him in the YES Lock. Bray bites his hand to release it, then Bray hits him in the face and sets him up on the top turnbuckle, but Bryan knocks him down with some headbutts. Bryan goes for a running knee but Bray rolls outside, then Bryan dives at him but Bray catches him and connects with Sister Abigail into the barricade, then he carries Bryan in the ring and hits a second one to earn the victory.
3rd Match: Big Show vs Brock Lesnar
Winner: Brock Lesnar
-Brock runs in the ring and tackles Show, then Brock repeatedly hits him with a chair and taunts him in the corner. The ref tries to check on him but Brock beats him with the chair again, then he screams at the ref to ring the bell. The ref takes a second chair from Heyman and tells him to stop, then Brock gets another one and runs at Show as the ref rings the bell. Show knocks Brock out with a WMD punch, then he hits him on the floor before whipping him back in the ring. Show goes for another knockout punch, but Brock ducks and hits an F-5 for the win. Postmatch, Brock continues to beat Show with a chair at ringside, then the ref tries to stop him but Brock shoves him away and gets a new chair, hitting him a few more times before leaving.
-The Shield is backstage and Ambrose says they are unstoppable night after night, and they don't really make friends easily. He says they have 27 other enemies tonight, and they will eliminate them all before the three of them are left standing. Rollins says they know only one of them can go to Wrestlemania, but they will still be a well oiled machine and united at the end of the night. Reigns says he is good with that and he has a good feeling, then Ambrose asks what number he has and Reigns won't tell him. They go back and forth about telling each other what number they drew, but Rollins stops them and says the only number that matters is three, and they believe in that.
-Renee Young interviews Randy Orton and gets his thoughts on tonight's events. She asks him what he thinks of so many people being in line for a title shot. She mentions Bray Wyatt wants a title shot, in addition to Brock Lesnar, Batista and others, but Orton mocks them all and says he's the face of WWE. Orton says no matter what happens he will still be on top at the end of the night, and he knows John Cena will take a back seat to everything else.
4th Match: John Cena vs Randy Orton

- Orton applies a headlock but Cena fights out, then he hits Orton in the corner and whips him into the opposite one, but Orton catches him with an elbow. Orton suplexes him and stomps him, then Cena puts him in a Sharpshooter but Orton kicks him outside and slams him into the apron. He suplexes Cena inside the ring and applies a headlock, then Cena breaks it and clotheslines him outsdie before whipping him towards the barricade. Orton reverses it and sends Cena into the steps, then he rolls him in and avoids a quick AA attempt to counter with a DDT. Orton acknowledges the fans and mocks them with an 'Orton pose', then Cena catches him with an electric chair drop and a sitout side slam. Cena goes for the Five Knuckle Shuffle but Orton counters with a powerslam, then Cena catches him with an elevated full nelson neckbreaker for a near fall. Cena heads up top but Orton cuts him off, then they go back and forth a bit before Cena shoves him back and hits a diving legdrop for two. He sets up for an AA but Orton counters with a backbreaker, then Cena backdrops Orton to the floor but Orton comes right back with a hangman's DDT off the apron. Orton rolls him in and sets up for a RKO, but Cena counters with a STF, and Orton breaks it by grabbing the ropes. Cena heads up top but Orton cuts him off, then they go back and forth a bit before Cena shoves him back and hits a diving legdrop for two. He sets up for an AA but Orton counters with a backbreaker, then Cena backdrops Orton to the floor but Orton comes right back with a hangman's DDT off the apron. Orton rolls him in and sets up for a RKO, but Cena counters with a STF, and Orton breaks it by grabbing the ropes. Orton rolls outside and snaps Cena's head on the ropes, then Cena hits a side slam and follows with a Five Knuckle Shuffle. Cena goes for an Attitude Adjustment but Orton grabs the ropes, then they inadvertently knock the ref down as Cena swings around. Cena puts him in a STF and makes Orton tap, but no one is there to make the count so Cena checks on the ref. Orton gets the title and hits Cena in the head with it, then he revives the ref and makes a cover but Cena kicks out at two. Cena hits a surprise AA for a two count, then Orton connects with a RKO and taunts the crowd again before setting up for a punt kick. Cena avoids it and goes for a STF, but Orton counters and puts Cena in a STF and tries to make him tap to his own move. Cena counters with a Crossface before Orton hits an Attitude Adjustment for two, then he lifts Cena up and gets caught with a quick RKO for another near fall. Cena lifts Orton onto the top turnbuckle and sets up for a super Attitude Adjustment, but Orton fights out so Cena instead hits a tornado DDT. Cena goes right into a STF, then Orton fights towards the ropes but Cena pulls him back to the center of the ring right as the lights go out. Bray Wyatt appears on the apron and Cena swings at him, but Orton catches him with a RKO and makes the cover to retain.
