The next scene on Pretty Little Liars shows Spencer announcing their their discovery to Caleb Rivers. He seems confused and Spencer explains that the hole was in Sara’s hotel closet. Caleb has a discovery of his own to share with Spencer. On “Where Somebody Waits For Me,” he dug around in the blocked cell phone. Buried deep in the server, there was an additional research file on Spencer’s mom, Veronica Hastings. Spencer is shocked and confused why and how someone would get Veronica’s medical records.
It turns out that both Aria and Caleb have gotten very good at investigation and noticing small details. Just like with Aria’s sharp eye on the absence of dust on the filing cabinet, Caleb also noticed a small detail. The image of Veronica’s medical records were not scanned. Due to the appearance of small folds in the top right-hand corner, the paperwork was captured with a cell phone camera.
On Pretty Little Liars season 6, episode 16, Spencer became uncomfortable and anxious about Veronica’s medical records. She begins rambling about politics and invasion of privacy. Caleb interrupts her and asks Spencer if she knew Veronica was sick. It turns out that years ago, Spencer’s mom was sick. Hearing this, Caleb tells Spencer she needs to read the medical report.
The medical report was dated eight months ago. Caleb predicts that Veronica’s competitor in the political campaign is going to leak the information. People would have sympathy for someone with a serious illness or disease. However, voters might worry that Veronica Hastings would not be well enough to be in office.
Charlotte’s Murder
Next on Pretty Little Liars season 6, episode 16, Alison DiLaurentis and Dr. Rollins ask why the state police are involved with Charlotte's murder case. The PLL 6B couple is told some new information about Charlotte’s death. Ali is devastated to learn that Charlotte struggled with her attacker. Before she was thrown from the bell tower, Charlotte was hit on the cervical spine with some type of metal rod. Lt. Linda Tanner reveals that investigators were able to determine that the murder weapon was hollow and had a rectangular shape at the end. Dr. Rollins asks how they know the shape of the murder weapon. He is told that it left an impression, meaning that the murdered used tremendous force when striking Charlotte with the metal rod.
Is Dr. Rollins The New Big Bad?
All doctors, despite going into different specialities should know the basics. It seems odd that Dr. Rollins would need to question how they knew the shape of the murder weapon. He also seems a bit too interested in the details of how the authorities know certain details. At the same time, he doesn’t seem shocked or disturbed by the information. As Pretty Little Clues speculated, Dr. Rollins is beginning to look more suspicious with each episode.
The Two Crows
Alison is then asked if she has ever heard of a dining establishment called The Two Crows. Ali hasn’t heard of the restaurant and Dr. Rollins seems agitated and says,
“What about it?”
It turns out that the night Charlotte DiLaurentis was murdered, someone used the landline at The Two Crows. The individual called Ali’s house, but the Rosewood High School teacher denies receiving any phone calls. However, phone records prove that someone did telephone the DiLaurentis residence. Not only that, but someone picked the phone up because the call lasted more than three minutes. Alison looks confused and Dr. Rollins appears to be losing his patience. He firmly says that there were no phone calls that night. Lt. Tanner seems to be bothered by Dr. Rollins and looks directly in his eyes and asks,
“Were you here all night?”
It turns out that he wasn’t. The only landline that Alison has is downstairs and she insists that it didn’t ring. However, Lt. Tanner says that if she didn’t answer the phone and Dr. Rollins was gone, then Charlotte must have taken the call.
The Liars Keeping More Secrets
Spencer and Aria meet up with Emily Fields. They tell their friend about the hole in Sara’s hotel closet. Emily suggests telling Hanna Marin’s mom, Ashley. However, Aria rejects that idea. She doesn’t want Sara to get kicked out of The Radley Hotel. They need Sara to stay there so they can keep an eye on her. They also want to keep their discovery a secret for now.
Emily thinks they should tell Ali about Sara Harvey. However, Spencer doesn’t think it’s a good idea. She reasons that if Ali finds out, she will go straight to the police. Aria wonders if they should let the authorities handle it. Maybe they are trying to solve a new problem using old logic. Nothing is decided at that point. Emily decides to go to the clinic and Spencer suggests they keep trying to get in touch with Hanna.
Spencer leaves to do some campaign work for Veronica, leaving Emily and Aria. Emily looks at her cell phone nervously and Aria asks if she wants company at the clinic. Emily doesn’t take Aria up on her offer and wants to do it on her own.
Melissa Hastings’ Trip
On Pretty Little Liars season 6, episode 16, Spencer goes to see her mom at the campaign office. She obviously wants to ask Veronica about the medical records. However, Mrs. Hastings is busy with her political duties. One thing to note is that Gil mentioned Melissa not being reimbursed for her flight. He says that if Melissa can’t find the boarding pass, then to give him the luggage tag. This seems unimportant, but it was mentioned and it must have been brought up for a reason. It must be the flight for Melissa coming back to Rosewood to help with the campaign. However, everything is a clue when it comes to Pretty Little Liars. PLL fans, store this detail in your mental filing cabinet.
Stolen And Destroyed Eggs
Emily goes to the clinic, but the doors are locked. An employee comes outside and tells Emily that there was an electrical catastrophe the night before. The power units failed and all of Emily’s eggs were stolen. However, she isn’t the only one affected. Around 30 clients will receive bad news from the clinic because the new Big Bad allowed all the other samples to be destroyed. The employee explains,
“There are backups… and backups of backups… but everything failed. The power was cut, the alarms… everything.”
Hanna Freaks Out
Hanna wakes up to several text messages from her friends, all worried about her. Jordan isn’t in the hotel room and she freaks out. He reveals that room service left breakfast outside the door, but Hanna didn’t order anything. She tells Jordan not to disappear on her again, sounding like an upset mother rather than his fiancée. Hanna tells Jordan that they have to go back to Rosewood immediately. As Jordan goes into the other room, Hanna reads the note left with her breakfast, which reads,
“The honeymoon is over.”
Lifting up one of the platter lids, Hanna sees eggs and bacon formed into a sad face. The words written on the plate say,
“Poor Jordan.”
Could the new Big Bad destroy Hanna & Jordan's relationship?
Alison Learns About The New Big Bad
On Pretty Little Liars season 6, episode 16, Spencer and Emily tell Alison a little bit about the new Big Bad. Spencer reveals that the PLL 6B villain thinks they know who killed Charlotte DiLaurentis. It turns out that a golf club was not the murder weapon.

#Haleb
Hanna and Caleb chat about the new Big Bad. He reassured Hanna that she survived “A” and she can survive this new tormentor. Then, Hanna tries to turn the conversation into polite chit-chat. Caleb suddenly seems nervous and has to leave. It is clear from Hanna’s face that she still loves Caleb.

Alison wants to tell others about her relationship with Dr. Rollins. However, the suspicious Pretty Little Liars boyfriend prefers to keep it a secret. Why?

On Pretty Little Liars, Ezra returns and tells Aria that he didn’t kill Charlotte. He was keeping Byron and Ella’s reconciliation a secret. But what about him going to the bell tower after Charlotte went there?
Melissa Murdered Charlotte?
