-Paul Heyman is shown waiting out Brock Lesnar’s arrival, then he opens the door and pleads with The Great Khali to let him out. He says he needs to make a phone call outside so he gets service, and he tries to reason with Khali to let him call Brock. Khali takes his phone away and smashes it, then throws Heyman back in the room and closes the door on him.

-Randy Orton tells Renee Young that they are all wrong, and he doesn’t have anything handed to him. He says Chris Jericho just has to work twice as hard as him, but Orton will hand Jericho a beating of a lifetime this Sunday.
-Meanwhile, John Cena comes back to the locker room where Khali is keeping guard, and he drags Paul Heyman back out into the arena and throws him in the ring. Heyman tries to get away but Cena stops him, and he says Heyman is going to make a beast appear, or he will make Heyman’s teeth disappear. Cena asks for Brock and Heyman calls ‘Hustle, Loyalty, Respect’ a sham, and he says this is the John Cena he’s been begging him to bring out. Heyman says Cena won’t take it out on the fans, but he himself could be the catalyst to bring Cena’s hatred out, although he doesn’t think Cena will do it. He says Cena won’t be a bully because Brock is a bully, and Cena doesn’t want to be Brock, then Heyman begs Cena to hit him. Heyman says Brock’s plane is legitimately delayed and he deserved to get hit, but Cena won’t do it because he lives by a code he believes in. Heyman says Cena will fail this Sunday because he won’t go to ‘that place’, and Cena calls him scum, but Heyman still begs him to throw a punch. He says Cena could fit his vision of being a ‘Paul Heyman guy’, but Cena says he won’t do this because he actually thought Heyman would produce Brock Lesnar tonight. He says he wanted a fight, but Heyman is just a washed up scumbag that doesn’t deserve his time, and he turns and leaves. Heyman says Cena’s mother might be proud if he was born with testicles, then Cena turns and shoves Heyman out of the ring. Heyman just looks up and smiles as Brock’s music cues up, then Brock makes his arrival and Cena gets ready for a fight. Brock walks around the ring and checks on Heyman, then he just smiles at Cena and says this isn’t happening. Brock moves towards the ring and takes his title off of his waist, handing it to Heyman before Cena charges him on the apron. Cena throws a few punches but Brock just hits a German suplex and sends him out of the ring. Brock goes to leave but Cena runs back in and punches Brock a few times, knocking him onto the floor before Brock covers up from some punches. Security finally runs out and breaks them up, and Brock takes his title from Heyman and stares at Cena, who still tries to fight through the guards.

-Seth Rollins tells Tom Phillips that he doesn’t care what Roman Reigns said about him, because Reigns is a neanderthal and he likes to talk about violence. He says Reigns’ knuckles won’t be bloodied from beating him up, they’ll be bloody because Reigns walks around on his knuckles. Rollins mocks Reigns and walks around like a caveman, and says Reigns is like a rhinoceros, because he’s fierce but not very smart at all. Rollins says he is going to beat Reigns because he made Reigns and it’s brains over brawl every time, and they can believe in that.
8th Match: Roman Reigns vs Seth Rollins
Winner: Roman Reigns
-Michael Cole welcomes Mark Henry to the ring, and he says he was in the Olympics but he came up short. He says the United States is about second chances and this is his, so he is going to win at Night of Champions and he won’t let them down. Henry says he won’t let them down, and Cole says Henry’s been different lately, and has a new fire, but Lana is trying to keep him down. Lana and Rusev cut him out and Lana reminds Henry he also failed in the 1992 Olympics, and America is a land of propaganda. She shows a picture of the 1992 gold medalist and says Henry’s confidence was crushed, and Russia’s dominance hurt him enough he faked an injury in 1996. Lana says Russia is full of great athletes and leaders, and President Obama fears Vladimir Putin, so history will repeat itself again when Henry fails against Rusev. Henry says he is making a pledge to all Americans coast-to-coast, then he recites the Pledge of Allegiance, but Rusev rushes the ring before he’s finished. Rusev hits him with some shoulder blocks a few times, but Henry throws him back across the ring and goes to hit him again. Rusev catches him with a thrust kick, then he tries to apply the Accolade but Henry powers up and chokes Rusev, then connects with a sitout powerbomb. Henry throws Rusev out of the ring by the head, then he celebrates by waving the American flag as the show comes to a close. Overall, there was some good in-ring action, but the Brock/Cena segment and the final one just wasn’t enough to be considered a success. I really have to wonder what they are thinking if they want more people to watch Night of Champions, buy the Network, or watch RAW. Tonight really won’t sell that many people to tune in Sunday.
