-So MVP comes out and says what happened at Slammiversary was a disgusting travesty, and he tells Eric Young to get his sorry ass out there. Eric says he is still a champion to believe in, but MVP says he gave Eric the shot in the first place, and Austin Aries colluded with Eric to screw Lashley. Eric says he just wants to come down there and kick his ass, then MVP says Eric would pick on an injured guy instead of fair competition. Kenny King says he wants a shot at Eric because that's what the fans really want, so Eric tells a referee to get out there and do this.
1st Match: Eric Young vs Kenny King
Winner: Eric Young
-Short, but okay match to boot.
-MVP is flipping out on the timekeeper and says he rang the bell early and King kicked out, then he slaps the timekeeper and demands an apology. Joe, Aries and The Wolves run out and brawl with Lashley and King, then security breaks them up and MVP gets everyone kicked out. MVP says he runs the show and if they want to push him, he will abuse his power like they accuse him of, and Eric is defending his title again. He says Eric will defend against Lashley tonight, then he is making it worse by having the Wolves defend their titles too. He says they will face Aries and Joe, and a third team, then he calls Earl Hebner out to the ring and fires him for his actions on Sunday. Yikes.....how quickly did that escalate? Great start of the show so far. Loving this.
2nd Match: Samoa Joe/Austin Aries vs Abyss/Willow vs The Wolves
Winner: The Wolves
-Wow, i am impressed with this match...like really impressed 9.5/10. 5/6 wrestlers have great offensive movesets. Which is pretty great...if you look at it.
-Aaaaand here is MVP again, and he kicks Joe and Aries out of the building, then he calls the Wolves over and says he has good news for them. He says just like Eric Young, they will defend their titles again tonight, and they will face Bram and Magnus, then security tells them to back away. Wow!!! MVP has lost it....abusing power you say?!? Hmmmm.. Dixie Carter and Rockstar Spud come out and Dixie says she came out to celebrate her nephew Ethan's huge win, and she says Bully Ray isn't even there. She says no one thought Ethan would win but he did, and she tells Bully to play with his Twittah machine at home for awhile. Dixie says she is never going through a table, and she doesn't care what the people think of her, because she's in charge and that's all that matters. She says MVP is digging his own grave and making it easy for her to reprimand him, so she came to reprimand someone else. Dixie mentions how Tommy Dreamer has been badmouthing her to gain publicity, so she wants him to join her in the ring. WHAAAAAT!?! Tommy Dreamer...damn. Dreamer enters the ring and Dixie asks him to take back his comments, but Dreamer says this is all about business. He says she made a business decision to interrupt his show, and he was OK with it until it reached Twitter. Dreamer mentions how they met and how they used to get along, including how they made Hardcore Justice, and he asks what happened to her. He says the person she is today is embarrassing, and she puts crap on TV instead of supporting the wrestlers and making fans happy. Dreamer says she should go to Hollywood if she wants to be on TV, because she isn't a wrestler and she owes the fans better than this. He says he has House of Hardcore and he listens to the fans, and she should think about the memories that people have with their families and wrestling. Dreamer says she enjoyed Slammiversary with her father in a skybox, and he says to look at the Von Erichs, and he also has memories of watching wrestling with his family. He asks her to do the right thing, then Dixie seems humbled and hugs him, but ends up kneeing him in the balls and screaming at him. Ethan runs out and Spud helps him stomp Dreamer, then Dixie tells Dreamer to think about who she is before Ethan kicks him out of the ring. I LOVE how this segment went. Dreamer basically told Dixie what we have been saying for months...years now. THANK YOU TOMMY!
3rd Match: Bram/Magnus vs The Wolves
Winner: The Wolves via DQ
-MVP finds referee Brian Hebner backstage, and he talks to him about what happened earlier, but he wants him to think about the future. He says Brian is going to referee the World Title match tonight, and he wants him to call it down the middle, and tries to buy him off. Brian shakes his head and looks confused, but MVP tells him to do the right thing and he will let him be while he goes to find Kurt Angle. Following this, Magnus and Bram are shown leaving, and they say they didn't walk away from a fight, because they were following orders. Magnus reveals that they were paid off, then Willow and Abyss confront them and brawl with them backstage.
-KNOCKOUTS TIME! Gail Kim welcomes Taryn Terrell back to Impact Wrestling, and Gail says she didn't like Taryn at first, but they beat the hell out of each other and proved herself. She says Taryn beat her last year in a Last Knockout Standing match, and she earned her respect, and she wanted to be the first to welcome her back. Taryn thanks her and says this means a lot to her, but she remembers they each won a match, and they should have a rubber match to settle things. The Beautiful People cuts them off and mocks the two of them, then Angelina says she is in charge, not Gail. Angelina says she didn't get to formally welcome Taryn, then she kicks her in the stomach and turns to Gail. Taryn fights back and elbows Angelina, then Gail helps her clear the ring and they throw Velvet and Angelina out to the floor.
-MVP finds Kurt Angle and asks what he wants, since he just had surgery, and Kurt said he was alone sitting at home. He says he just wanted to be back at TNA, but MVP says Kurt isn't going to fight him, and he won't stop him. MVP says Kurt should stop with the mind games and not help Eric Young, but he should instead celebrate with them. He tells Kurt he has two options, and one of them involves being forced to leave, then Kenny King mouths off to him. King pushes him and tells him to leave, then Kurt knocks him out and dares Lashley to do something about it. MVP gets pissed and throws everyone out of the building, including cameramen, crew members, and Jeremy Borash. DAMN!!!!
4th Match: Bobby Lashley vs Eric Young
Winner: Bobby Lashley
-SAY WHA???!?! Bearded wrestlers are no longer champions. Wow...MVP was acting hell cray cray the whole night...but worth watching. i will say that. So screwjob was written over this.
