1st Match: Abyss vs Eric Young
Winner: Abyss
-The crowd was really into this match, which brought out all the weapons. GREAT STUFF!
-Bobby Roode shows Dixie Carter a contract and tells her he wants his title shot at Lockdown, and she asks why he thinks he can do what he wants. Roode says he is taking precautions since she promised to help him, but Dixie says she can't do things on her own right now. Roode demands she makes the title match with him in it, then she tries to put him in a contender's match but Roode doesn't want any part of Samoa Joe. Dixie says she is in his corner, and he will show people he belongs, but Roode gets pissed and says that this had better not come back to bite him. Cue the "Dixie's A Liar!" chants please? Anyone? Fine...derps! Anyways, Roode is demanding his title shot at Lockdown right. He reminds me of someone in the WWE, but i won't name names. ;)
- MVP comes out and says it's been a long time since they've seen each other, but he's been living life at his own pace, and he's learned alot. He says some people at Impact Wrestling think they can act how they want, but he says they need a change and have to stop the egomaniacs. MVP says he is a professional wrestler because he loves it, but he also made some money and got a nice return on it, and he also met some people who think like him. He says TNA has all the potential, but mismanagement is keeping it down, and he will makes sure that this will never happen again. Rockstar Spud cuts him off and says Dixie Carter would be more than happy to speak with MVP backstage, but MVP says he still knows how to fight as well as booking a match. MVP says Magnus will face Kurt Angle tonight, then he asks Spud how he likes that and tells him to get out of his way. #TeamMVP
- Bully Ray says Ken Anderson took his family away from him, so he is going to put him in a coffin next week and take everything away from him. Bully says if he doesn't believe him, he will put the next person he sees in the same coffin, just to prove how serious he is. After a break, we see Curry Man make his entrance for a match, but Bully Ray wheels the coffin out to the ring and says Curry Man is in the wrong place at the wrong time. Curry Man tries to reason with him before running at him, but Bully kicks him in the face and taunts the crowd before hitting a piledriver and loading him into the coffin. Bully looks at the camera and tells Ken Anderson he will end his career, then he closes the lid and taunts the crowd before leaving.
-Magnus is freaking out on Dixie Carter about his match tonight, but she tells him to go out and win and not to worry about what MVP is doing. She gets some reassurance from Rockstar Spud before Ethan Carter III walks in, but she looks disappointed that it's him instead of MVP. Spud tells him they are waiting for someone, and Ethan asks why she doesn't have time for her own family. WOW! Dixie has her hands full tonight. Time for the heels to go face, have Samoa Joe go heel. He was way more badass as a heel wrestler. Just saying.
*X-DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP
2nd Match: Austin Aries vs Zema Ion
Winner: Austin Aries
-Match was good. I'm impressed with Ion's in-ring skills. Mic skills need a little work, but thats just me.
-Is it me or does Christy seem a little bit scared of Samuel Shaw? She just basically hit him with that " Let's keep our relationship professional= Let's just be friends"
Magnus trying to tell Bobby Roode to stop complaining, and he says Roode hasn't helped him so he needs to concentrate. If anyone knows Samoa Joe and how he wrestles in the ring, it's Magnus. So Roode should be taking advice for Magnus...but no. Smh. MVP joins Dixie Carter in her office and she asks why he didn't reveal himself to her, then she talks about how she saved TNA and made it a huge company. MVP asks how she did that and Dixie talks about how the roster loves her, then MVP asks if Jeff Hardy or AJ Styles would agree with her. Dixie says they were disgruntled, but they should work together and he will learn a lot from her. MVP says their relationship starts in the ring, and she asks what he means and MVP says they should include the fans and says it's in the interest of fairness before walking away.
3rd Match: Kurt Angle vs Magnus
Winner: Kurt Angle
-Match was decent. I'll give it that. Magnus hits Kurt in the corner but Kurt comes back with a kick and some German suplexes, then Magnus hits him and tries going up top. Kurt cuts him off and throws him across the ring, then he puts him in an ankle lock but Ethan Carter III runs in and attacks him to cause a disqualification. Ethan sends Kurt to the floor and they trade punches, then Ethan rakes Kurt's eyes and hits him in the knee with a chair. Ethan hits Kurt's knee again and rolls him in the ring, then he puts him in a grapevined heel lock before watching the medical team assist Kurt out of the arena. Samoa Joe checks on Kurt on his way out, then he screams at Dixie Carter that she started the wrong fight, and they will all pay.
-Chris Sabin and Velvet Sky (yes they are still dating in real life and no they aren't together in the storylines) Sabin says he knows what he needs to do and pulls out a ring box, and she looks overwhelmed but gets pissed when she opens the empty box. Sabin says he wants her out of his life and he is sick of her, and they can settle this like real wrestlers do. Sabin tells her to meet him in the ring next week, then he says he tells her when it's over, and now they are truly over, and he walks away as she starts to cry. OH NO HE DIDN'T!?!?! That's it! I am kicking his ass!
*#1 CONTENDER'S MATCH
4th Match: Bobby Roode vs Samoa Joe
Winner: Samoa Joe
-Y'all really think that Samoa Joe was just gonna stand down and take this shit. Nah you thought wrong!!!
- Dixie Carter and MVP come to the ring for their 'summit', and Dixie puts Magnus over as being a champion with dignity, and says they should stick together. Dixie talks about what a great job she's done so far and wants to talk about new ideas, but MVP stops her and says she has some ideas of his own. MVP says he's discovered they only agree to disagree, and her mismanagement has nearly crippled this company by making an uneven playing field. He says he won't stand idly and her reign of terror is over, so he will take any action to show her that the party is over. I cannot wait fot the next Impact. OOOOOOHHHHH YES!!! #TeamMVP
