At home, Lulu tells her father's picture that she doesn't believe he caused the accident. Maxie shows up and starts venting about Levi. She rambles about not going on a date with Nathan. She explains why she's not going and asks Lulu to tell her she's doing the right thing. Lulu can't. Maxie keeps venting and insists it's too soon for her to date. Lulu thinks she's just too afraid to trust herself. Later, Dante arrives at home for dinner. They chat about Maxie and Nathan and hope they get together.
Nathan waits at the Metrocourt. He waits for a long time. He's about to leave when Maxie finally arrives.
Sam and Patrick are on their flight to Amsterdam. She's distracted by Danny and the John Doe. They discuss the patient's brain. "Just like Jason," she grumbles. He starts telling her how annoying Port Charles women are for always standing up for their gangster boyfriends. She reminds him he used to be a sexist pig with a God complex. They both think they've changed a lot. Sam worries about her mom. He wonders if Alexis has filed his divorce papers and then assures Sam he's not going to make a pass at her.
At the hospital, Liz fusses over the John Doe. Monica pops up and takes a look at the patient. He's doing surprisingly well. Liz starts complaining about her lousy romantic life. She still feels like she never got her moment with Jason. Monica gives her a hug and leaves. Liz sticks around. When she's about to leave, John Doe opens his eyes. Down the hall, Nina wheels up to Franco while he spies on Carly and on Sonny with his phone. At Michael's, Sonny hopes Carly will dump Franco for him. She thinks Sonny is an SOB. That sounds good to Franco. Nina takes his phone away and tries to convince him to stop this. She talks him into leaving his phone behind while they go out to lunch. Meanwhile, Carly blames Sonny for Michael nearly getting killed. It's an illustration of why they will never be together again. He thinks that's crap and blames everything on her. He's sure they both know she's not doing the right thing. "We always end up together," he insists. She's not convinced they should be together. It always ends in disaster. "It's going to be a beautiful one," he says. They have sex on their son's sofa. Later, Franco and Nina return to the hospital. He gets his phone and tells Nina she was right. He offers to delete the camera app. When he turns it on, they see Sonny and Carly half-naked, discussing their sex romp.
