1) Nathan comes home to his clothes in a trash bag outside. Maxie has thrown him out and changed the locks. She suggests he find a new space down by the waterfront but he reminds her he’s paid until the end of the month. They continue to argue through the door and he reiterates he didn’t drop the dime on Levi. She lets him come in to collect his stuff but isn’t interested in hearing more of his lies. Levi walks in and Nathan points the figure at him. Maxie jokes to Levi that Nathan’s new theory is that he called immigration on himself. Levi flashes back to making the call with Nathan’s phone but tells them both it’s ridiculous. Before Nathan leaves he promises to prove to Maxie that Levi is up to no good. Outside, Nathan thinks about Maxie’s eyes. Inside, Maxie pledges to go with Levi to Australia.
2) At the park Felix urges Liz to sharpen her knives and dig in if she wants Nik. When Britt learns Liz is staying she stomps off to call her mom for help. Liesl normally would but Liz just came off a double and it would put the hospital in jeopardy. Meanwhile, Spencer tells Cam and Emma he’s moving on with Joss, and even kisses her, but no one believes him. Later, Spencer calls for Britt to break up Liz and Nik and has a plan. He stands on a table and announces a Battle of the Counselors. Nik gets the kids organized for the first event and Spencer reassures Britt his plan will work. The games begin and competition is fierce between Liz and Britt, but it ultimately brings Liz and Nik closer. Spencer has a new can’t-lose idea. Later, Nik can’t find Spencer while Britt gets a text from Spencer that says operation runway is under way.
3) At the hospital, Silas and Sam embrace while Nina watches through the window. When they emerge from Rafe’s room she tells him she has a confession but Sam and Silas ask her to wait. Rosalie needles Nina that she keeps getting lower on Silas’ list. Meanwhile, Silas accuses Lisel of putting his nephew in the OR with a man who wanted him dead and thinks the press should know all about this. She warns him that all of Rafe’s drug use will get out, and the fact he drove a family off a road. She accuses Silas of failing Rafe, and blaming the hospital won’t help. She wants him to take some time off work to grieve. Silas storms off and Liesl urges Sam to talks some sense into him before he destroys the hospital and his career. Nina leaves her chair and follows Sam and Silas to the roof where Sam urges Silas to reconsider. He accuses Sam of being blinded by her friendship with Patrick. Nina listens as Sam tells Silas that Patrick admitted he thought about hurting Rafe, but didn’t. Why would he say anything if it weren’t true? Back inside, Anna apologizes to Patrick for not identifying the driver and wants to know why Rafe drove off the road. Patrick tells her Silas thinks he intended harm to Rafe. Anna says Silas is shifting the blame from his own shortcomings as a guardian. Talk shifts to Robin and she asks if they’re divorcing. He admits Alexis drafted the papers. Anna struggles to make sense with Robin leaving right after she came back. Patrick tells her Robin’s loyalty is why he loves her, but he struggles to understand some of her attachments. Robin just doesn’t put her family first. Anna asks if there is something he isn’t telling her but Liesl interrupts and tells Patrick that Silas is about to go public with his accusations of malpractice. She wants them to make a statement in tandem. Anna suggests Patrick get a lawyer first but Liesl offers up the hospital’s. They need to act fast and Patrick owes it to the hospital not to fail again. Meanwhile, Nina returns to her chair, giddy that she has the ammo to bust Silas and Sam up. Patrick fantasized about killing Rafe and when Nina gets word out Sam will accuse Silas. Nina wants to release this bomb with maximum efficiency. She overhears about the press conference and knows what to do. Back on the roof Sam urges Silas not to pursue a case against Patrick, because it will only cause more pain.
