At the Quartermaines, Ned and Olivia watch a movie with their 3D glasses on. He starts talking about his fight with Alexis and how uncertain their relationship is. That piques her interest. As they watch the movie, she hops into his lap and claims it's just because of the 3D. He turns it off. She starts trying to get something off her chest when Alexis interrupts. Liv starts to stutter. She's about to leave but Ned insists she stay. She goes to get more popcorn. Alexis apologizes to Ned for defending Julian so he apologizes for defending his father. She tips him off about Julian framing Ric. Plus, he's alive. They forgive each and smooch. Liv watches and crumbles some popcorn. After Davis leaves, Ned asks Liv what she wanted to tell him. She admits she was going to ask him to New Years but he's patched things up with the lawyer. He thinks they need to get her a date and tells her she's due for some happiness.
Anna and Dante have their guns drawn as they search the waterfront from Faison. They find Jordan instead. Anna sends Dante off to check on Nathan. Jordan's boss shows up. Bob lectures her for being lousy at her job. She defends herself but he fires her. Anna stands up for her, but Bob points out that Anna's reputation is looking pretty bad at the moment too. Anna stands behind every decision she's made. "Good luck with that," says Bob.
Alexis returns to Kelly's and finds her daughter. Before she can say anything, Anna calls and informs Alexis that Ric is missing.
Nathan is brought into GH by some paramedics. They try to control his bleeding and rush him into surgery. Obrecht bursts in to save her son. Lulu and Sam arrive at the hospital, eager for news. Sam tells her all about being a hostage and Nathan getting shot. Lulu wonders if she should call Maxie. She does. Dante arrives for an update. Obrecht comes out, covered in blood. She explains that her son will pull through. Maxie barges in to see Nathan. Obrecht gives her a few minutes and orders the cop not to scare his 'Mutter' again. Meanwhile, Patrick fusses over Sam and tells her he cares. He walks off. Dante needs a statement from Sam. She's determined to get the man who helped Jason's killer go free.
Jake returns to Liz's place. She's eager to hear about what he's been up to. He's exhausted and vague. She sends him up to have a shower. When he comes back down, she turns on the news and they watch a story about Faison's escape. Cellphone footage of the escape is broadcast. The reporter explains that Faison, not Ric, was the head of the Jerome family after all. Liz tells Jake the tale of Ric's demise.
